•WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Since there are no reserved tickets or seats, Life 107.1 listeners will be lining up outside Wells Fargo Arena early. They’ll open up the doors to the atrium inside Wells Fargo at 4:30 to begin the Pre-Jam Party, but they won’t allow anyone to come inside the main auditorium until 6PM. As far as what time you’ll want to line up, it depends on the weather. There will most likely be a line formed by 3:30 either way.

• HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND A WINTER JAM EVENT?

A. The general admission price to attend a Winter Jam event is $10 per person from 2 years old to 99. The JAM NATION Membership is $49.99 per individual and $39.99 for groups of 10 or more.

• DOES THE TOUR ACCEPT CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS TO ATTEND WINTER JAM?

A. The tour accepts cash or check ONLY at the door for admission. You can use debit/credit cards once you get into the venue for concessions and merchandise. Checks should be made out to “NewSong Ministries.”

• ARE CAMERAS ALLOWED AT WINTER JAM?

A. Still photography is allowed. Video cameras are not allowed.

• IS THERE HANDICAP SEATING AT WINTER JAM?

A. Yes. Since the show is General Admission only, the venue leaves special seating to the tour. Please contact Stacie at stacie@jamtour.com to make arrangements for Handicap seating at any Winter Jam show.

• CAN I SAVE SEATS?

A. No. Unfortunately, you must be a JAM NATION Member to receive the benefits of reserving a choice seat prior to general admission. Venue security and tour personnel will ask you to remove any signs, or personal items being used to save seats.

• CAN I VOLUNTEER TO WORK AT THE CONCERT?

A. Yes! They still need more volunteers for the show, and you can learn more at lottahands.net.

• HOW DO I GET THERE?

From Interstate 35 from the North: Follow I-235 West into Downtown Des Moines. Take the 3rd Street (Downtown Des Moines) exit go south to the Iowa Events Center Complex. To get to the Polk County Convention Complex, continue into downtown on Third Street and take a right on Grand Ave.

From Interstate 35 from the South: Merge onto I-235 East exit and travel east towards Downtown Des Moines. Take the downtown exit and proceed to the Third Street exit. To get to the Polk County Convention Complex, continue into downtown on Third Street and turn right on Grand Ave.

From Interstate 80 from the East: Headed west on I-80, take the I-235 West exit and continue towards Downtown Des Moines. Take the 3rd Street exit (Downtown Des Moines) and go south to the Iowa Events Center complex. Parking is available on-site, with additional street and ramp parking within walking distance. To get to the Polk County Convention Complex, continue into downtown on Third Street and turn right on Grand Ave.

• WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Parking at the Iowa Events Center: Parking is available north of Vets Auditorium with entrances off the following streets: Third, Fifth, and Crocker. Iowa Events Center surface lots offer the closest and most convenient access to the facility, and easy access to I-235 and other major routes after the event. ADA Accessible parking is available at the Iowa Events Center by entering the lot south of Crocker Street, next to Vets Auditorium. COST: $7 for cars and $25 for RVs/Busses

Street Parking Downtown: Street parking is available throughout downtown with the convenience of parking meters. Pay attention to the location and rates as many meters have different time limits and parking restrictions during certain times (typically no parking between 4-6pm) For updated information on parking downtown, including rates and availability, CLICK HERE

Parking Garages: City parking garages are located throughout downtown with convenient skywalk access to Wells Fargo Arena. Payment for city garages is collected each time you enter the garage. The City of Des Moines recently completed a downtown parking signage system to give up to the minute details on where parking is available in the garages. COST: Varies depending on the garage. Life 107.1 artist and 2012 GRAMMY Award® Nominee Matt Maher is taking time out of his internationally-acclaimed tour to bring his musical mission to Central Iowa!

Audrey Assad, honored as one of iTunes’ “Best of 2010,” will open for Maher. Assad is a relative newcomer to the Christian music industry, but her mesmerizing melodic voice and her honest and hopeful lyrics have earned her an intensely loyal and fast-growing following.

The Maher and Assad concert is offered by St. Cecilia Catholic Church for the benefit of the entire Central Iowa community.
