Freedom for Youth Ministries is excited to invite you to their 2nd Annual Country Market. For five consecutive Saturdays starting July 10th, you can relax at the campus outdoor coffee garden and shop for fresh vegetables in season, and one-of-a-kind designs made by the Freedom for Youth students. Items available for purchase at the market include Adirondack chairs, arbors, bird houses, wind chimes, metal art, pottery, jewelry and dip mixes, all handcrafted by the students. Fresh, homegrown vegetables will be available each week as well. The outdoor coffee garden will feature coffees, lattes, homemade rolls/bars and specialty lunch sandwiches, all served in a relaxing outdoor setting. Proceeds from the Country Market will assist Freedom for Youth Ministries with opportunities for Des Moines’ inner-city and area youth to discover their God-given abilities and lead a life filled with faith, hope and love. Post-secondary scholarships for the students will also be funded. You and your friends are encouraged to experience this one-of-a-kind “country market” each Saturday starting July 10th through August 7th anytime between 9 am to 1 pm. The Freedom Center Campus is located at 2301 Hickman Road in Des Moines, just west of the ML King and Hickman Road intersection.
