One of the realities of having a loved one deployed in the Iowa National Guard is that the household chores still need to get done. Here’s how you can help – there’s an organization called ‘GreenCare for Troops’ – they pair up military families that need some yardwork done with volunteers that are willing to mow. And as the grass grows, that’s exactly what they’re looking for – volunteers.
